As an American I'm proud a US made weapon was used, but disappointed it wasn't a US soldier making the shot.

Prince distinguished himself with the 1st SSF in Italy and France, using the skills he'd learned growing up on the reserve. He displayed his covert abilities in a celebrated action near the front line in Anzio, Italy. Effective range is the distance your average person can reliably use it at. In the hands of an expert its capable of more. Even 5.56 is taught as having a 500 600m effective range individually but when a while section is firing on one target this increases to 800m.

Considering he was engaging a visible, marked target with a secondary observer in addition to his partner, it's safe to assume that he was after a stationary and concealed individual. It absolutely was aimed and it was not "blind luck"
