reserve doesn't have combat arms units, that's the guard. so I don't know if your unit has 240B, or rather where they live

in the light infantry platoon, they are in the weapons squad and the gunners are the SGT on the gun teams

What's a scout's stereotype? Or do we even use scouts any more?

The marines still have Battalion level recon platoons as well as scout sniper platoons which are both used how scouting units were in the past.

In my experience?

>grunts - barking and making random grunting noises when they do buddy rushes, MOUT and actual combat
>Machine Gunners - either stocky manlets or the biggest sons of bitches in the platoon, total frat boys, you thought the riflemen were bad...
>Assualtmen - eternally frustrated and fatalistic, if in combat, completely deaf and in a daze from all the concussions
>Mortarmen - Tryhards who volunteer for patrols whenever they can or can appreciate sitting in their hole, waiting for fire missions or the range to start
>Comm Guys - Never get any sleep, paranoid and constantly getting bitched at by SNCOs and Officers, almost as fatalistic as the Assualtmen
>Amtrackers - Usually ugly and dirty, it is a known fact that the Marine Corps sends all the uggos to tracks, will make fun of you for being a crunchie, impervious to accusations of POGness due to being in a world of their own that no one wants to be a part of.
>Docs - Always seems Tired and Irritated, if in garrison never at formation and on deployment will either avoid Marines like the plague or constantly checking up on his guys

Weapons guys have been- in my experience- pretty cool dudes that always seemed a little more intelligent than the average grunt.

I was in a weapons company. The machine gunners tended to be a bunch of loud obnoxious drunks. Kinda like what >>34306250 said. Total frat boys.

A whole lot of the Mortarman did drugs. There were about 10-15 guys in my platoon who were booted for drug use from the time I got to the unit to the time I got booted out for popping on a piss test.

I really have no fuckin clue what the snippers did with their free time.
