But look, you've made your choice. You're relying on a bokken, that's your life now. So remember what I said about training, the muscles you swing with need to be powerful. Don't just practice swinging, use strength training to build up more physical power. And look past traditional kendo strikes, the dimensions and form of the bokken will also let you incorporate some practical jojutsu techniques into your repertoire.
