You're playing a handloader's game. If you don't want to pay for 7.7 jap brass you can form it from .30-06. People will tell you it is dangerous but those people assume everyone is an idiot.

The companies who make it do a run of it about once a year. Norma and a couple of others like PCI. You have to buy it shortly after they ship that run out before it goes out of stock. Otherwise it's hit or miss to find or you have to load your own.

Norma makes it and so does Graff and Sons.

You're better off buying brass or forming it from 30-06 and handloading it.
