As a last resort, use wood glue and then wrap the majority of it in duct tape.

That will hold it for a while but you should really have spares. I get through a couple of sets a year, they always fracture in the end.

Just go ahead and use wood glue. If you go by the directions on the bottle, the bond will actually be stronger than the wood itself
