Has anyone else noticed that north Korea has buzz bombs. Is north Korea literally going to be the new "bad guy"?
>>
> new
> implying north korea wasnt already the fucking worst?
>>
>buzz bombs
You realize everyone has cruise missiles, right? And that the V1 was just a primitive cruise missile?
>>
>>34275394
modern cruise missiles are supposed to be guided and used to target military hardware only.
buzz bombs, on the other hand, are dumb projectiles and fall wherever. only useful against civilian targets.

much like firebombing tokyo, or nuking nagasaki and hiroshima.
>>
>>34275207
NK has always been the bad guy since the Korean War.
>>
>>34275994
>only useful again civilian targets.
Last I checked nukes were useful against all targets.
The Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki attacks were dropped from above, not launched from a remote location only to "fall where ever", Dumbass.
>>
>>34275994
Why do you keep saying "buzz bombs"?

What do you think those are?
>>
>>34276034
I'm thinking he means unguided surface to surface cruise missiles with little wings.
>>
>>34275998
which never ended
>>
>>34275207
>buzz bombs
Save a life, bin that knife m8.
>>
>>34275207
Of course. Theres oil there.

Does that mean that Trump could restart the war without needed to ask Congress for permission?
>>
>>34279009
the president can do whatever the fuck he wants for 60 days without permission. Trump could invade cuba yesterday if he wanted
>>
>>34279009
Yes, but he'd have to notify congress within 48 hours and obtain congressional approval within 60 days, with an additional 30 day withdrawal period allowed to disengage forces.
>>
>>34275994
>target military hardware only.
That Pakistani weddings are very very military and very-very hardware!

>>34275998
>since the Korean War
In Korean War they were good guys, btw.
>>
>>34275994
The V1 missile did in fact have a guidance system.
>>
>>34275207
Hahahahahahahahahhahaah like Nia, how gay can you make ur trucks look hahhahhahahhahah

They're called doodlebugs

He's refering to the self propelled bombs that Nazi Germany used against Britain. They used this scramjet/ramjet/can't remember engine that would fire intermitently, making a pat-pat-pat noise that could be heard from the ground. When the noise stopped, it was a sign the bomb had run out of fuel and was coming down. Ultimately, they were a waste of resources and only had a minor psychological effect. The Nazis were only pursuing rocket technology so hard because they had no artillerty, due to WW1 treaties. My info is really sketchy on this, but you can look it up yourself.

No it didn't. The guidance was done on the ground. The rocketeer would check a map to see how far he was from London, then do some math to work out how much fuel the bomb needed to reach its target. There was no GPS in the 1940s. Hell, there was no man-made satellites in orbit around earth until the 1960s.
>>
>>34275207
I think those are target drones, just not painted orange.
>>
>>34281556
> Guidance = GPS

yea, no...
>>
>>34281556
lol of course it didn't use GPS. It had analog systems to estimate distance, heading, and attitude which it used to orient itself on a target. It was all done using presets but it was a guidance system nonetheless.
>>
>>34281531
>They used this scramjet/ramjet/can't remember engine
It was a pulse jet anon
>>
>>34281606
Didn't they have some sort of gyroscopic guidance that kept it on a preset course?

This is a modified reverse engineered MQM-107D. The US made these to be target towing drone however the norks modified them to be recon drones and some to be attack drones,
