When the day comes that it's affordable and possible, would you ever consider trading in your gun(s) for laser weapons?

I'd probably save and purchase a laser pistol or two.
But in all honesty, the body armor we would develop against laser/energy weaponry probably wouldn't be nearly as effective against kinetic weaponry.
Therefore I'd (eventually) be at a fairly good advantage over energy weaponry people if I kept at least some of my old bullet firing weaponry.
Seeing the current turn of events, we probably would not get any Lasgun without fingerprint sensors, gps trackers and it's own instagram profile.

That is horrifyingly probable and I would be fucked for not having any social media to complete login and registration

No, I don't buy guns for practicality. I'd buy a few laser guns, but not trade in my conventional guns

Why trade when you can own both?
If laser weapons become commonplace, any traditional ballistic weapons you could probably resell as collector antiques

>he wouldn't make it into a laser ghost gun

that depends on so many different factors it's not even a question worth considering senpai
