can /k/ give me some suggestions?
currently looking for full sized 9mm semi auto in the price range from 400-650ish burger bux. i want something that is good out of the box but also has plenty of aftermarket to grow into. i would like to be able to one day compete with said gun. Im currently leaning to the glock 34 and now memes aside i normally am not a glock guy, but there is something about the 34 in particular that i like. It also has huge after market. Close second is a Beretta 92fsA1 followed by the fullsize sig p320. i have small hands but was able to hold the 34 recently and it felt okay. Any suggestions /k/? other good alternatives i may be missing and should look into?
Glock sights are garbage, make sure to budget $30 for Trijicon sights.

I do like the Beretta 92A1, but you may need to find a specialty kydex shop for a holster. Same with the M&P 9L.

I'd vote for the G34.

If your willing to spend 650-700, you might want to look into a Cz Sp-01.
It's got 18+1 capacity, great ergonomics right out of the box - some tout it as one of the most ergonomic handguns of all time, good sights, good trigger which can be used either in the tradition da/sa or cocked and locked. It's also got a much better rail than a glock as well as superior aesthetics. It's got a fairly large aftermarket, but I doubt you'll make too many changes.
Great bore axis and a metal frame means you'll have minimal recoil and muzzle flip, by all accounts they are durable and reliable and cz has a great rep for both customer service and quality control

G34, G17, or G19 are all great options. I tend to recommend the G17/19 to my friends who are getting into gun ownership.

I second the VP9 too

I forgot to mention that it has checkering on both the front and back straps, night sights, and is NATO certified after undergoing incredibly harsh testing

FN 509. MSRP is 650 but if you look around online you can find them for 600 or just under if you hunt hard enough

Yes. Don't come to /k/ for advice.

Beretta 92 series
Sig p320 is a good option too.
What kind of cunt kills a thread to ask a question and then doesn't engage at all when suggestions are offered.

I second this guy. I love my sp01 more than my 92, g17, 226, or 1911.
I do think I am about to buy this though just for fun:

My setup is a Glock 35(.40), that I have a 9mm KKM barrel for, 9mm extractor/ejector/mags,springs/connector, Dawson sights. I use it for IPSC and it works great. If you get a .40/9mm you can shoot major or minor power factor
