Zeroed my RMR at 25 yards and its rock solid. Chin weld isn't hard to get used to especially since I use an Obzor for my SLR104.

There was a flickering issue with recoil but I fixed that by bending the battery contact then later with a sealing plate as well.

Very few ACOGS have mini dot mounting bosses. Most of them are sold paired with an RMR. Some green illuminated acogs have the mounting bosses.

No, I used to have an MFT minimalist, but I didn't like how long the hook thing was. This is Strike Industries Viper mod. MFT was fine. I like this one better, but I only bought it because I got it for super cheap. I picked up the rubber butt pad and it makes it much easier to get a solid grip in the pocket if you are nose to CH .

Lock up on the MFT was better, but the viper isn't bad at all either

I load 30-06 and most of my best loads across the board for each 30-06 I have all run at Garand pressures, which is a mild load anyway. Which means I can switch bullets around and have some really nice Garand match ammo that runs match or pretty close in the other 30-06s.

Ok, boys. Looking for a few things. I am checking out some optics including the Vortex Spitfire 2, PA 3x Prism, and a Vortex Crossfire 2 4-12x for my 16" gun. Looking to designate as a RECCE/mid-range rifle. On my 300 blk on the other hand, I was looking at the LAW side folding kit and the SB PDW brace. What do you think would be best for compact, carry around type stuff.

Side folding on an AR is 100% a gimmick. The Sig PDW brace is incredibly overpriced and isn't actually shorter than a normal collapsible stock. If you need a brace for your pistol then you should look at the KAK stabilizing blade, it's cheaper and IMO better.

If you're on a low budget you should look into getting a mid-range low power variable like a Vortex Viper 1-4x, or a SWFA SS 1-4x.

20 inch with 3x PA prism scope. Handle rifle. Foregrip handles well and doubles as sling loop. Eye relief with American Defense QD mount is perfect for A2 stock.

I have a bunch of PA optics. Got a red dot, holosun with ACSS, 3x and 5x prisms, 6x 22 scope with ACCS, and 4-14 R-grid.

All enhance different properties of different set ups but the 3x is great on a 5.56. As is the 5x, but eye relief is shorter.

Comes down to how much utility you want in your reticle.
