Invest in a glock army knife with sawback
cheap, simple and reliable enough for you(probly)
It's just a glock in knife form really.

It's a passable knife for the price, my one qualm is that it's drastically underhardened at HRC 52. Have fun regularly sharpening it.
Buck 119
Myself and two of my friends have them, i have never heard of a man disappointed by it
Also, it's affordable

The Glock knife is a good field knife OP, but this anons answer would be better for hunting. I'd put some grip tape on the handle though, it's pretty slick imo

I am looking for some multi-purpose kind of knife, but meat cutting and skinning would be on that list of purposes. Guess i should still be looking for a field one though?

My thinking was: If it's good enough for the army it's good enough for you.But then again, the army sometimes issues the unsharpened so what the fuck do I know
A ka-bar is always a solid option.
