So I just moved into a house my grandfather left me in central PA and I found these in the basement. Does anyone know what they are from just looking at them and do I have to do anything/register them w/e.
I opened and closed the chamber and it clicked if that matters. One has German written along the side.

Give pics of markings. Look like .22 target rifles though
You don't have to register them. If you want to be able to identify them you should take pictures of the markings and post them so we can have a better idea of what you have. Or use your Google fu and try and i.d. them yourself.

eh it's probably nothing special, don't know where markings are but this was neat.

Find the fucking markings if you want help
You have a pair of what look like a pair of ANSCHÜTZ rifles.
They are very nice, and worth at lest $1,000 each.
Make sure the pawn shop gives you a good price when you sell them. Dont lie, you are going to sell them, degenerate

They're your grandfather's belongings, of course they're special you ungrateful fuck

That's not the point, I wanted to know if he got them from ww2 or when he did his nuclear exchange program in the 50s.
You faggots are way too much trouble.

I have money I'm not going to sell them, I just want to know if me and my brother can buy bullets for them or if it's not a thought crime to not report them

Okay, let's all take a chill pill right now, k?
There are very accurate German rifles probably chambered in .22LR, a very common round found in almost any gun store.

There is no national registry nor a PA registry. You're fine. They look like .22 lr target rifles like anon said. It is the literally the cheapest ammunition you can buy. By the buckets even.
My innawoods house, town is 2k ppl. Deer ran along side me for 200ft today I braked to let him jump into the trees.
I think you're right, hard to tell from photo but it says anschutzmodell match 54 cal 22 long rifle
It's impossible to see on the other one but it says the mcconellsburg firearms Co. Model 80-dl-22cal-s-l-lr
Neat. Nothing to do with WWII or any war for that matter, those are precision target shooting rifles. They are single shot.
Make sure the sights are zeroed, practice a bit and you should be able to do good groups with them.

Hey man, you know it's a good day when you just explore your basement and find 2 rifles, I found another but I'm pretty sure it's just for critters.
>>34217427
Show it anyway, all rifles are cool. Especially free ones.
>>34217456
Pretty sure it's a BB gun, but can't win em all. Funny thing is my grandad was a professor of nuke chem at umd so IDK why he would buy guns and move to Appalachia.
>>34217479
they did make quite a few m1 carbine bb guns, but pop the mag, it might just be a new stock
Also more Soviet souvenirs why not.
It says вoeннo мopcкoй флoт which means military sea fleet, no indication which fleet

It popped out now it won't pop back in

if it looks like this
>The magazine is inserted into the rifle by tilting the front of the magazine upwards and sliding it forward into the magazine hole. The rear of the magazine is then pushed upwards and back, where it engages a latch to hold it in place.

Good advice, it's identical. Just having a lazy Saturday exploring my new guns
