you can but 80% receivers for a few guns that require you to do some work so you can "make" your own gun. while it seems to 14 year olds and liberals that you can buy the parts and slap one together without any paperwork that isn't really the case. making an automatic rifle is a pretty seriously enforced federal crime except in a few heavily regulated circumstances, such as a weapon manufacturer building prototypes .

Well it's massively illegal, a bit tricky on the technical side but definitely possible.

Stating an intent to do so on a board that gets archived and combed by bots for alphabet soup agencies is a bit unwise so I don't advise acting on this any time soon.

Also, I remember the days when you could buy paper manuals at gun shows showing how to convert certain guns to full auto. A few of those were obvious traps too.

But anyway. Remember, absolutely nothing you do online is private. At most there's so much useless data that what you generate is useless and won't ever be examined by human eyes but it will be databased forever.
