Should I get a shield, g43 or PPS? I like the glock because

Grip on the clock 43 is too dinky. You have to get mags with the extension floornplate. The capacity is 6 plus 1.

Might as well get a shield with the better grip and higher capacity.

The 43 is probably the worst of those 4. I'd get the Shield as you'll get the most options for sights/holsters.

depends on the holster. If it doesn't have any backing or if you aren't going to wear a base layer, then yeah, it'll rub you raw if you IWB. You sort of want to put grip tape on the 9 or 40 anyway though.

I personally like the pps more than the 9 or 40 shields becuase the slide is smoother and the trigger is better, and it fit my hands nicely. I even like the short 6 round mag on it. The mag release placement isn't great though (and not reversible) and reloading means you have to lift your pinky due to how the mags are.

I purchased a pps 9mm over a year ago and it has been one of two carry options. I grabbed a shield 9mm when the rebates hit, because they are almost giving them away. Both are very shootable compact pistols. I prefer the way the walther feels so it will continue to be in the carry rotation. The shields magazines are more space efficient however. The 8 round mag in the shield is the same size as the 7 in the walther. Honestly you cant go wrong with either option, shoot them both if possible and choose.

LC9striker version is best trigger.
