If you are an immortal man, what would be your equipment through the age?
Caveman era: A club, a stone axe, some kind of animal skin like bear skin or wolf clean.
Iron age-brown age: A spear, iron breastplate, shortsword and shield.
Classical era: Javelin, shortsword, steel tower shield, iron breastplate.
Early medieval era: two handed axe, shield, sword, chainmail.
High medieval era: Arming sword, shield, coat of plate.
Late medieval era: Longsword, full plate armor.
Renaissance: Zweihander, half-plate/munition plate, shortsword.
Colonial era: Musket, cutlass, uniform.
Napoleonic era: Musket with bayonet, infantry saber, uniform.
Civil War/Wild west era: Repeater carbine, revolver, bowie knife, uniform.
WW1 era: SMG, pistol, trench knife, uniform.
WW2 era: SMG/Assault rifle, pistol, combat knife, uniform.
Modern era: Assault rifle, pistol, combat knife, uniform.
Warhammer 40K era: Bolter, power sword, power armor.

You'd eventually stop going to war. Or at least only go when absolutely necessary.
I'm the guy who started the Highlander thread and a war vet so I've thought about this before. Both Duncan and Conner have times where they live on "Holy Land" and cannot be attacked. They basically dodge the draft because they are tired of war.

I'm just saying those would be my equipment if I decide to go battle in each age.
Of course I would switch it up because going to battle with the same equipment would be boredom for an immortal.

If I'm immortal, you can be damn sure I'd use a sword or an axe while completely naked in war.
