Would it be stupid of me to find a really cheap Hi Point just so I can eventually get the bullpup conversion?

no that looks dope and now I want one.

So you're desiring to stop desiring? Desiring enlightenment is unenlightenment. Who are you?
>>
>>34170283
I was unaware of this....

Finally have a reason to own a High-Point.

>PepeLiberator fag has been shilling and making shit threads for months with nothing to show for it
>some guy making a closed bolt sten carbine fed from colt SMG mags has a working prototype, is working on large scale production methods, and has only made two or three threads
>>
>>34170283
I want to thread that barrel and put a suppressor on it.
>>
Still not sure why they didn't just design the original Hipoints for 1911 mag and glock/5906,Beretta mags back in the day. Kit loops pretty slick but more than anything I just hope it makes other companies take notice *cough-keltec-cough*
>>
>>34170283
You can doll it up all you want and call it anything you'd like, but at the end of the day, it's still a fucking hi-point
>>
>>34171391
If they did mags like sub2ks, I'd honestly be all over it.
>>
>>34171433
Considering sub2ks go for like $370-450 it would be pointless unless you had to have true bullpup
>>
>>34171520
True, but a 9mm bullpup sounds pretty fun and 9mm could always use more decent low budget carbine options anyway.
>>
>>34171414
so?
>>
>>34171414
With a better warranty than
any fucking gun you own.
>>
>>34170819
Anon, you have my attention, tell me about the STEN with colt mags.
>>
>>34172758
*with a better warranty than virtually any product you'll ever own

I have never seen a warranty as good as Hipoints, Pontiac sure as shit won't fix my car no questions asked.
>>
>>34173119
>>34172758
inter ordinance has a pretty good warranty too, but the product is nowhere near as reliable as hi-points
>>
kinda stupid but also kinda cool. Personally I'm not interested just because of the single stack mags.
>>
>>34173106
Look up Breeki_Bro on an archive of your choice. He's a legitimately cool guy, seems like, even uses his trip properly.
>>
>>34170826
if you had the 9mm you could

look up tornado technologies hi point or something, i forgot what they're called but they'll thread it for 100 bucks if you take out the barrel and send it to them. Don't forget about the redball 20 round 9mm magazines that got endorsed by hi point themselves

>>34171391
The .45 version actually uses a only slightly modified 1911 mag; it only takes a small magazine catch installed in the gun (made by thingmeister fabrications) for the gun to accept 1911 mags. Conversely, 1911 mags can also be modified to be used expressly in the hi point guns, but that seems dirtier.
>>
>>34170283
looks great, but for $600 total i could buy a rifle that doesn't look like shit out of the box
>>
So this is my first time hearing about this. I like it.
I usually think kits like that are stupid, but it does make the rifle look much better while also shortening its overall length. I could definitely seeing myself buying this in the future, maybe then I wont feel too embarrassed to take mine out every once in a while. I literally haven't shot it in about 4 years.
Though of course it doesn't fix my biggest gripe which is shitty mags, but oh well. Thanks /k/ for enlightening me to this.
>>
>>34171391
the guy who designed the hi point pistols did it because his daughter got attacked and he wanted to make a gun that was cheap as fuck and invulnerable to gun control laws. pretty ironic how his guns became popular with the same kind of people that attacked his daughter huh
>>
>>34170283
No, fun is fun and that is also useful, a nice range toy and compact.

There are actually decent 20rd after market mags now made by redball sport. Also the bullpup stock has a bushing I'm the magwell to accept higher capacity mags which I assume is their next project after the bullpup stock.
>>
>>34170755
Whoa, when did they say that?
>>
>>34178235
Last time I was on their website they say they haven't decided on price but it'll be between 199 and 299.
>>
>>34175895
He forgot that women typically don't like large, ugly, heavy guns, but that Nubian gentlemen don't care.
>>
Yeah, but will it take glock mags?

I prefer OG 90s looking ones, without the railz and with the older stocks. The new ones would look better with a matte black finish instead of shiny plastic. Maybe a decent paint job would help
>>
>>34180305
God lord, good swing at the end there because I was about to tell you to go fuck yourself.
>>
>>34177577
Ahh, but of course it's only fitting that extended Hi-Point mags are just as hideous as the gun itself.
>>
>$200 gun
>$200 bullpup chassis
>get a threaded barrel, an RDS, and a can for it
The .45ACP version of this would unironically be a good HD gun once the HPA passes.
>>
This thing is fucking awesome.

I mean, don't expect it to outperform the higher end PCC's, but the price point is hard to overlook.
>>
>>34181147
that looks really sick actually
>>34180321
agreed
