Less Features than JPC while essentially being the same size and weight.

As an MSPC and JPC owner I would say they're about the same. You can Milan for some custom stuff like zipper+Molle back plate and it'll end up cheaper than the JPC.

Make sure to get it in a rad camo tho

Forgive me for questioning the use but what's the point? It's a slab PC, it has very little to no front MOLLE webbing, it requires aftermarket gear that hooks and loops on or is attached via the swift clips (I assume) up front.

I don't really see the point of all that when you can just already have a kangaroo pouch for 3 Mags, which nearly everyone uses as the standard front setup anyways.

Unless you're going for as low profile as possible, in which case you're probably not going to have the mag Pouch attached to the front.

The JPC has optional 35 dollar padding just like the LPSPC has the option of having.

Are you going to be using it as a dedicated PC of is this meant for some kind of Greyman rig where not having Mag Pouches rigidly attached is actually a feature?

Yeah, the stuff that he had was clearly straight up stolen. Every now and then you'll see a legit peq15 floating around on Fleabay, which are definitely mishandled government property (most likely police department owned) as they have never been sold to civilians. The XSAPIs too. I noticed whenever he took a pic of them, he would try to conceal the serial numbers. Someone had to go through some major hurdles to steal one of those, since I believe that most of them are locked in a warehouse overseas for when the specific threat appears. To add to that, shipping (stolen) ITAR restricted gear to Canuckistan is a straight up illegal and will land you in prison.

Theres about a million different uses and purposes for a slick carrier with swift clips. One is to have the the ability to have a slick carrier on, with all the perks of that (Low profile, concealable, etc) and then be able to quickly deploy more gear in an efficient manner. IE. Maybe you have a low profile requirement and then when a situation escalates to where you no longer have to be low profile you can simply clip on an attachment.

There is a lot of other reasons, im sure others would care to elaborate.

First off, as long as the item remains in the original hands that took posession and then crosses the border, the only crime that was committed was the original theft. It is not illegal to take them into Canada in one's own posession. So that means an investigation needs to start down south and then follow the items to Canada, then the Horse Gestapo needs to agree to pursue it on international shit, which isn't worth it over something that they can't show that he wasn't just given them because they were broken or permenently left in his posession if he recieved them and didnt sign for ownership or something.
Now, second off, they may not be sold to the civillian public but shit like this is released through a process in canada all the time. Usually as long as they have been marked for destruction you can wrangle one.
For instance, Diemaco rifles have been making it into civillian hands for years, just without the lower reciever, but there apparently been a process for prospective Queen's Medalists to buy a semi-auto purpse built reciever for these.
Most of the time the Horse Gestapo just never has enough evidence to do anything.
I also doubt I need to reiterate the fact that everything on this page is fantasy and it directly zays that only a fool would take it seriously means that people regularly make shit up and post about it with no fear of anyone believing it, otherwise they would probably be a little more serious if it said "everything on this Khazakstani camel husbandry forum is real"

>>
>>34159109
Depends on what you're doing. The bladder is suboptimal for fieldcraft tasks. In that situation I like a nalgene with one of the stainless cups that fits on it. The cup can be used to boil water or cook something in, and the Nalgene's lid threads are compatible with many commercial filtration devices. Plus the wide mouth allows you to add fresh snow to melt for water in a cold weather environment.

The bladder is a good way to distribute the weight of water if you're wearing a plate carrier though.

I'm using a Source 35L 3Day pack and it's great for that role, not so good for extended innawoods trips or running around in gear shooting stuff.

It's an FN Chrome lined LW profile, shoots about 1.75-2 MOA with good ammo.

I need some input.

My set up is a Grey Ghost Minimalist with Level IV ceramics. Pouches are just cheap shit Condor. Belt is just a USMC GI that I run my Ares Aegis through for extra stiffness with an Esstac rifle/pistol pouch, IFAK, and $40 holster.

I would really like to upgrade the plate pouches to something with it's own retention instead of bungee, and get a stiffer belt if possible.

Should I just move all my pistol mags to my Belt? Should I lose the belt entirely and just get a stiff as hell pants belt to run instead?

Size is also a consideration not having a cumberbund, but that is fine. I only really wanted a lower profile set up.

>Another drawback is that the ceramic tile in the plate can crack if it's dropped or hit in any way, such as when thrown into a bag or cruiser trunk. Such cracks diminish the plate's ability to protect an officer from a bullet. And the cracks aren't always visible. A plate might have an imperceptible hairline crack that you're unaware of until the plate fails. If you know a plate is damaged, it must be replaced.
Policemag article 2013

>ANY Ceramic Rifle Plate can be damaged if abused - especially if dropped on its' corner. They are not delicate, like fine tea china, but, on the other hand, FedEx and UPS are notorious for being rough with packages.
So, every Ceramic Plate we ship FedEx or UPS is bubble-wrapped, and then DOUBLE-boxed with lots of padding to survive rough handling. We overpack, so that it would take a lot of obvious abuse to do any damage.
We stake our reputation of over ten years on doing it right. Don't buy a plate that just gets thrown in a box and shipped out.

And I helped do x-rays of armor in garrison, giving me access to some idea of the stats.

And I've seen what SAPIs can and can not stop, including multi-hit.

And I have a gearfag bent leading me to research the topic and learn about it academically.

Spalding < LineX. Steel is more durable. Steel can take multiple hits. Ceramic is lighter. Ceramic can stop more powerful rounds that would go through steel. Ceramics are multi hit to a reasonable degree. NIJ testing requires 6 hits from non AP ammo. Any more than that and your LineX is gone and your PC is in tatters and you are now taking fragments of bullet jacket to your chin, neck, arms, and maybe your dick.

Steel has no benefits over ceramics except cost, but even that's going away because Ceramics can be had for as low as $120.

The fragility of /k/'s ego is really evident when these gear arguments come up. Is it really so hard to fathom that different pieces of gear have different strengths and weaknesses? Is it really such a blow to your worth to consider the piece of gear you use is not the end all be all answer for every imaginable scenario? I could understand the backlash if someone said ceramic is inferior to steel in everyway, that would be retarded right? I mention steel has some pros, ceramic has some pros, mostly related to durability. I get nothing but retarded responses in reverse order. The echo chamberness is evident.

You're right. I wouldn't use my plates as a hammer, or a surf board for example. However, for the job it is designed to do (stopping bullets) a ceramic level 3 or 4 plate is better than steel in every way that applies in a practical sense. Will it stop 20 rounds of 7.62? Well, I've seen tests where one does, but I wouldn't count on it. But while a steel plate might survive a magdump of 7.62, you won't survive that scenario. So your one perceived benefit doesn't matter.

You also never addressed any of my points, instead switching to ad hom about fragile egos.
>>
>>34163255

Use whatever you want, both are viable in that they stop bullets.

Dude, I'm all for ceramics but you fucking know they're not going to hold up very long after taking rifle rounds. Just buy both and use the steel for when your ceramics eventually break, as we all know they eventually will.

Who is Roman and how much?
>>
>>34168470
He's a guy on fb. Pants are 180 and the shirt is like 90 dollars.

I've never owned actual cryes but a lot of people say Roman's are exactly the same without the price or crye name attached.

Nice. Does the HSP D3 front have velcro on the back?
Does it feel secure?
Get the side swift clips.

I'm most concerned about perceivable slop/flop in between the chest rig panel and the carrier.

I imagine with velcro, and all 6 clips buckled it would be okay.
>>
>>34169117
There's no flop in the chest rig, it's loose on the edges which will be secured once the swift clips are installed, yes there's Velcro on the back of the chest rig

Anyone know where I can get a normal AOR2 combat shirt for the low low? These inclement weather shirts are way too hot for deep south 98 degree weather w/ matching humidity.

Also, have a guy's DIG2 complete SAW h-harness rig coming in soon, so I have that going for me, which is nice.

Basically I want to determine that it works well with taco or kydex style mag pouches.

Anyone run tacos or Esstac KYWI mag pouches on a chest molle rig? When you pull the mags does the rig move up?

Anyone familiar with the PCU level 5 pants? I just bought a pair since they were cheap.

I understand that they're part of a system, but the pants just seem to be a good tactical pant option.
