Because I just ordered one for $242 + transfer fee a week ago.

For real though just do it. I was considering getting a 590 but it's not worth an extra couple hundred for the extra round of capacity. I already have a regular 500 5+1 but I want one with more capacity. Get the synthetic stock, the wood ones are cheap as hell and dent easily.
