>>34139289
Lee Enfield No1 that has been butchered. Worth about $225.

Really? Thanks. So many be it's just missing some furniture?
>>34139337
the other anon could be right, i have a ahrd time telling the metfords from MLE's. you might be able to find furniture for it
ignore this guy hes retarded >>34139334
>>34139334
Thanks!
>>34139334
you sure it's an early enfield? the bolt looks like an earlier make.
though I am shit at differentiating between metfords and enfields.
>>34139334
>be shit tripfag
>show up outside of your containment zone
>misidentify rifle
>immediately slap an arbitrary value on it that nobody asked for
bravo
>>34139289
any markings on the wrist band of the rifle OP?
>>34139361
You can see the half of the charger bridge on the left, the bolt head has the 2nd half of the charger guide, and the rear sight has windage adjustments like the SMLE No1. Oh, and the safety is on the left side of the rifle as opposed to the cocking piece.
>>34139396
Oh please, do enlighten me. Tell me what the rifle is and why it is not a SMLE No1.
>>34139427
>that safety
did the lee-metford variants never use that?
>>34139307
I saw a rifled labeled as "Lee Enfield" at the gunstore the other day. Looked almost like an American M1917 but it had the metal band on the wrist.
It also had that metal crank looking thing? What it that for? I kind of figured it was something for launching grenades, but you wouldn't need a gas cutoff for a bolt action.

No, at least not beyond the prototype and trials stage.
>>34139507
put your trip back on and quit sucking your own dick faggot
>>34139580
I never take my trip off.
SMLE Mark I, also known as Rifle No.1 Mk.I after 1926. Neat that it still has the charger guide bolt head.
>>34139427
lee metfords had that safety
>>34139748
Well I'll be damned, thats the first I've seen. My mistake.
>>34139872
>Be tripfag
>Blatantly misidentify something
>Provide blatantly wrong value on said misidentified rifle when no one asked me too
>Suck my own dick and 3000 hours in ms paint to prove something no one asked me too
>Derail a thread with obnoxious faggitry that could have been avoided if I merely turned off my trip
>Revel in my (you)s and chug literally gallons of semen while my stepdad Terry does loud sex to mom
Gotta say though, kudos to you for admitting you were wrong and learning
>>34139748
No they didn't.
If you actually check the source of your pic you'd see it had been an SMLE MkII. They were converted from Metfords to the SMLE MkI spec.
>>34142808
This.
The Smle No.1 had a receiver safety.
This is a converted long rifle to smle pattern.
