I always do an even split of 3 for lifts and 3 for endurance with one day off. I'll vary up the endurance days with a long slow run, a more moderate tempo pace at a moderate distance with some hill sprints shoved in after, topping the week off with 400 repeats for speed.

I understand the importance of strength training and its benefits, but why guys do nothing but lift is beyond me.
