What are your thoughts on .22LR conversion kits?
Thinking about picking this up for my AR

I have a Savage MKII as my current plinker and kind of want something semi auto but honestly I'm just not a huge fan of 10/22s.
I really like my AR though and if I could shoot .22LR out of it that would be really cool.
I just want to make sure these don't cause any problems with ARs before I buy one.

Worked great for me but I was using a cmmg piston with the related conversion kit so no idea how the gas tube version is. Just be ready to use the bore snake depending on what 22s you are plinking with

>$199.99
If I see one more retard with a .22 conversion thinking he's doing legit training I'm going to magdump his stupid ass. GET SOME REAL .223 AMMO. The money spent on the kit and .22 Lame Rifle should be used for real ammo.

U mad bro?
I think he's mad guise.

WOW, faggot much?
Let me guess, you're doing REAL HARDCORE TRAINING, right?

You guys are a scary bunch of faggots, that's for sure. I was looking for some thoughts on the .22 LR conversion kits for the G17 Glock frame, but I've heard that Tactical Solutions produce some sub-tier shit.
Any recommendations, senpai?

or maybe he just wants to plink soda cans in a gravel pit mister armchair operator
this might shock you but i bet he's also not wearing a plate carrier OR tactical gloves
Buy a dedicated 22lr trainer. More gunz = more funz.
I have one, it clogged my gas tube with lead, but after I cleared it out I found that if I run about 30 5.56 every 200 or so .22s it blows the lead out.
Mine works fine but i seldom use it. 556 is more fun. If you want it I say buy it if you have the dollerydoos

shit like this happens a lot.

Due to the fact most .22lr is unjacketed it can get pretty filthy and most people are not diligent with their firearms maintenance.
Get a dedicated .22lr upper for close to the same price.

OP here. Thanks. That is the type of stuff I'm looking for. In that case I'll probably pass
>I run about 30 5.56 every 200 or so .22s it blows the lead out.
In that case it won't really be much cheaper will it.

I am pretty diligent with firearm maintenance though, and the brick of .22 I bought is jacketed. I clean my AR every time I shoot it.
I will look into full on uppers though.
