I'm sorta new to firearm purchases but I've always been interested in the concept. (plus murica)
How viable is the Luger (my favorite historical pistol) in actual use? I know replicas and subsequent ammo is still being created (or just find a actual one) so I know I'd be able to use it if I bought it.

I would gladly use one for daily carry if they where mass produced and parts where easily available.
But as it is I would not carry an antique around and risk having it taken from me, for evidence, after I use it on some negro for stealing my tires.

if you buy a luger, remember to paint it

God Dam. was that a real Luger?
That is like defacing the Monalisa.

It's pretty goddamn dated. Great for range fun but not for practical use, I mean it's still semi auto 9mm so better than nothing.

I would be suprised if someone with no experience got a luger apart and back together
