I commissioned an Alien pulse rifle out of a GSG-5. It went swimmingly, but was a bit more pricey than I'd have expected. I don't know your budget (clearly if you're in the market for MaTeBas, you're not broke), but 1 pulse rifle was almost 10k. If you're doing several custom fabs that will function safely, you're in for some serious dough.

the stamped design of CZN-M22 reminds me of an L85. Most reasonable for modding is an AR-180. I'd start with an AR-180 if I was gunna ghetto it. Leader T2 MK5 is another candidate, maybe a little closer, but also more expensive than a 180 since it's uncommon.

As per the Pulse Rifle, a friend who builds props for movies got with my nigga who owns a gun store and they banged it out. Sometimes the display fucks up, but I have a burst firing pulse rifle and I'm okay with that.

Sometime next month the smart gun'll be done. I didn't go .22 for that one lol.
