I just... this reminds me of a weird story that happened to me at my old shitty job.

Working as a clerk at a shitty convenience store some couple comes in and the man is like visibly angry at the woman. They go to buy something and he keeps cursing at her for having money and he fucking knows it. She isn't crying and just keeps looking for cash but it's clear she wants to cry.

Man storms out after an uncomfortably long time berating this skinny tweaker lady and I think he would have hit her had me and cameras not been there. She tells me that she recently got some money on a debit card for who-cares-what-reason and he wants it. She doesn't say it outright but its clear he wants to buy more drugs. She does what all meth addicts do and tells me her life story and I am just about to feel pity and ask her if she needs help.

Then she pulls out a PSP and asks if I want to buy it. She wanted me to look at it and handed it to me. I look it once over and when she tells me she wants $100 for it. $100 and I could be the proud owner of a stolen PSP with no games.
