IDFag here. Noyhing Israel produces for its own use should be adapted without careful consideration. The Tavor Phat has tons of problems, although it performs as accurately as M4.
The Tavor Micro solved the lroblems but is shorter barelled, and less accurate. It comes with the weird IDF doctrine of short engagement ranges and focus on urban combat. Even our marksmen were swotched from full length A2s to M4s.
