Can this bad boy work as an every day carry? Or concealed carry in any way?
>>34087949
I mean, you could.
You could also sawzall off your car's roof to make it a convertible for the balmy summer days ahead
>>34087962
I'm being serious though. I'm looking to buy this.
>>34087949
Lugers are picky about ammo, so no
Also, if you have to shoot someone in self-defense, your gun might end up in an evidence locker for a bit; better it be something other than a Luger
>>34087983
Do you think I'm not?
Don't CC a luger you big dummy.
If you must CC something edgy and Teutonic just get a walther p1.
wehraboos lmao
>>34087949
to give you a reason instead off just the correct answer
that shit jams like a motherfucker
its just really impractical weapon to trust with your life
if you want something "cool" or "clasy" or whatever you want it for other options exist that wont be a coin flip whether or not it saves your live
>>34088078
>>34087989
>>34088021
But if I decided to carry it anyway, are there any decent edc holsters? I don't want to carry it in a large WW1 holster lmao.
>>34088082
hey its your life
good on you for having a backbone, at least I hope its backbone
nice try hans. The 3rd Reich isn't coming back anytime soon.
>>34088095
Oh come on, anon what are the chances I'll actually ever get to use this gun on anyone? If there will ever be a case of this, it'll most likely be against someone who's already in the middle of robbing someone else or some shit.
>>34088103
>3rd reich
It's a pre-WW1 gun, anon.
>>34088108
>putting holster wear on an antique
>sweat wearing an antique
>putting enough rounds through an antique to remain proficient enough to defend yourself with said antique
The Kaiser frowns upon you, anon
>>34088116
Nah, I wouldn't do that to an antique, nor could even afford it. I'm just gonna get a replica.
>>34088129
Oh, one of the ones interarms(?) imported in the 70's
Honestly, you could argue they're collector's items in their own right given how few were made but at least you aren't damaging a true piece of history.
Think hard though, you could easily live to regret this
>>34088129
oh and last I checked the replicas are going for about as much as the real think on ye olde gunborker these days.
unless you're talking about one of those trash mini lugers erma crapped out.
Do not trust you life to those
>>34088147
>>34088142
I don't know, there's some guy where I live that sells them for a decent price. And I desperately want a luger but am a poorfag
Only if you're a libertarian writer on a 2 month LSD binge. And only if you're shooting at your neighbors during a live TV interview. And only if you're ranting about the declaration of independence. And only if it's an artillery officers model.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=NHeSC_Ws5Ic
>>34088157
So, does this guy make them? Like, from scratch?
Himself?
or is he just sitting on a deep pile of the things?
>>34088165
No idea, anon, I've only seen the ad so far and it got me thinking whether there's any point getting it.
>>34088168
Well, given we have no idea who or what made these things it's anyone's guess.
But hey, if it turns out to be not reliable enough to carry it's still a kickass range toy.
>>34088174
>But hey, if it turns out to be not reliable enough to carry it's still a kickass range toy.
Absolutely. That's the main purpose for me. EDC is really just an afterthought of mine.
holsters are fuckhuge
but hell why not
>get a mismatched Luger that's functional for cheap
>put a thousand rounds through it to make sure it's reliable
>start carrying
>>34088160
>ywn have a neighbor you can have saturday night gunfights with or have a Polynesian lawyer best friend
>>34088082
You'd have to get a custom holster but fortunately there are plenty of vendors for that. Leather, kydex, hybrid, etc. You could make the kydex type at home
the dimensions are a bit wide for CC, like 1.4in wide at points. Not impossible but it's wider than most double stacks, it's very thick for a single stack.
>>34087949
I'm not sure that's going to look good in court after you shot a nignog with it in self-defense.
>>34088265
>implying a WW1 german most beautiful pistol won't look good as evidence in court in a case against some dirty niggers
>>34088269
>killing an American citizen in cold blood with a Nazi weapon
>going down well in court
And the Darwin awards goes to.
>>34088283
>nigger
>american citizen
I'm white, anon and he's a nig. The court is most likely also gonna be white.
This is really just a community service
>>34088295
You're gonna get fucked once the media sides with the black guy. When the court hears Nazi pistol they'll throw you in jail.
>>34088302
>media
Couldn't care less really.
>>34087949
you've obviously never held one. they're clunky and the sights suck horse cock.
>>34088308
I have actually. Yeah the sights are garbage but nigger holding this gun feels like a dream.
>>34087949
It's a pistol so yes
It's like asking if you could run in any shoe, you could
>>34088302
Buy the swiss model, it's a neutral pistol then
>>34088160
Holy shit. brb, buying everything this man ever weote.
>>34087949
yeah you could, but
>if anything happens to it (damaged, taken away by the cops) it'll haunt you for the rest of your life
>plus its expensive
>the toggle system means its prone to jamming
>its kind of award to carry, its long and angle and could snag, picture trying to cc a ruger m3
I carry special snowflake guns too but even I have my limits
>>34088513
not them but lol dude you think people would seriously understand the difference between a nazi marked luger and a swiss contract luger?
no, the media will call you literally hitler, the jury if they even know what a luger is will think youre a nazi.
>luger not a good idea for cc
>>34088082
You'd probably be better off with a shoulder holster if you do plan on carrying.
>>34088108
In that case why carry a gun at all?
>>34087949
You're going to be sad if you have to use it on someone and the police take it away for evidence.
>>34088082
What are you? A larp fag?
>>34087949
This man would suggest against CC'ing a Luger
>>34088021
A Luger yeah, that's pretty retarded, but what's edgy about a p1? I have a couple and they're pretty neat imo, both mechanically and historically. set the path in place for modern handguns
Everyone laugh as ops luger is taken away electropencilled a crude # on the barrel and thrown in a evidence room just long enough to grow irreparable rust damage.
Lol or watch this idiot lose it at some store gas station or restaurant after he takes it off to take a shit.
>>34089906
You're not carrying it for its neatness or historical value or complexity. You're carrying it to save your life and defend yourself. It's all good for your reasons until you have to pull it out and it jams.
