Hey /k/,
What are some handguns you'd recommend for someone with rather short fingers? Weapons like Glock 17 or Walther P99 simply don't cut it, I can't put my finger on the trigger properly whenever I grab the gun to line up with my arm, so I have to hold it at an angle, which probably affects my accuracy and definitely has a negative impact on my confidence.

Try a 1911 with a short reach trigger (the stainless on the top). Should allow you to reach the trigger.

My index finger is like 8,5cm long. When I grab a P99 and hold it properly, I can barely reach the trigger with the tip of my finger, so I can't really squeeze it properly.

Stick with single-stack pistols. The reduced width will give you plenty of space.

Here's a 1911 with an exceptionally short trigger. Seriously try one, they're pretty great.

What about those grip conversions for double stack pistols? Are they really worth it? How much space they could realistically give?
