hey /k/, whats a cheapish fun gun to build? I was looking at uzis and psls and maybe an ar10, but i feel like theres something cooler and maybe cheaper to build. plus i cant find a good psl barrel anywhere.

A Vz.61.
Mine was $375 for kit with original barrel and then $295 for the receiver.
The kits can be had off of Sarge's Surplus and the receivers off gun broker.
The build is incredibly easy, probably easier than an AR15 due to the lack of roll pins.
Pic related, mine.

that does look neat

It really is, it's incredibly accurate and has very low recoil. Only downside is .32 is disproportionately expensive.
Other neat builds I could see are a hungarian AK, maybe an RPK, or some kind of super shorty ar pistol?

Any source on a reputable reseller of these things?

I'd just build one man, Czechpoint (https://www.czechpoint-usa.com/) has them for sale rarely. The build is fun and requires almost no tools.

Masterpiece arms makes some great mac 10-11 clones

I don't see any Vz. 61 parts kits up there right now. Any idea when the last time you saw them for sale was? Did you buy the receiver there as well or somewhere else?

Owning a semi-auto mac is pointless.

Paying for an FFL or fucking whatever is pointless. Plinkers are fun and its like $350. Can probably turn it into a cheap ass carbine.

Buddy if you'd read the others posts you'd see where to get the parts, but i'll hold you hand.
