The AR is an absurdly light little rifle. Even a rifle-length quad rail on a 20' barrel will only weigh about a pound. Hell, carbine length rails weight 11 ounces. Thats nothing. Do ten pushups a day (lol) and you'll be able to deal with it.

I think it's safe to say the board as a whole has varying opinions about them, but I don't like the idea of gucci specialty rifles that don't have basic functionality and fail torture tests. On top of that, personally I'm a much bigger fan of the milspec look anyway.

If you want to buy one, go ahead. It's just not in my taste. To me, they're the alienware of the AR world.
