Be patient, be slow, good luck.

Start off at close range, if your range has a 25 yard target even get it adjusted to that.
Then move back to where you're going too actually zero the thing
Make sure you have plenty of space to zero, and take 2-3 shot groups so you know a round wasn't just a flyer.
Have patience and good luck, what rifle is it?
FRONT
OPPOSITE
REAR
SAME

Don't forget about your breath. Gently squeeze the trigger, be sure not to flinch. Dry fire it a few times to get a good idea of the trigger break. Don't rest the barrel on anything, make sure you're resting the rifle on it's hand guards.

By don't forget about your breath I mean don't breathe while you're shooting. Three deep breaths and exhale.

And when you dry fire, you want the trigger to break and the front sight to not move at all. You probably already know this, but it's worth mentioning.

>2-3 shot
try 5-7 shots

Focus on the front sight, not the target itself.

Just depends on what you're using and how confident you are in your shooting, for me and my ACOG I know the POI after 3 shots accurately
If you had a gun that shoots 4+ MOA this could be harder to determine
