Its outdoor and free. Has a ~50m range for pistol and rifle and a skeet shoot range.
Skeet shooters are usually pretty good, however everyone on the other range practices terrible safety and crowds the line. They also will unload entire magazine after magazine so trying to shoot drills or improve any real measure of shooting skill goes out the window.

If you can get there when no one is there such as the middle of a work day it might be okay to get in some range time. It is free after all.

Its on 40, so from I4 turn left onto 40 and head past juniper springs. Its on the right, clearly marked with signs. Or you could take 19 from 441 and turn left on 40 etc.

Even with the supposed protection we have now, if a cop sees your gun (even if you have a CCW), you can be arrested and charged with brandishing. There was that case a few years back where that guy was told to raise his hands after saying he told the police he had a gun, and it pulled his shirt up, which, as you probably guessed, exposed his pistol, and he was arrested for brandishing.

Basically Florida (in theory) has all the same protections as the Supreme Court ruling on knives. So there's quite a bit of protection, however! These laws are preempted by local ordinances. Which could be anything, and you are not protected by Safe Passage, and even having a CCW won't save you. A lot of them are as vague as possible, and many more are basically impossible to read up on. I can drive twenty miles and pass through four different counties, all of which have different PD's, and all of which could have different knife laws, and all of which could treat knives differently in general.

If someone wanted to ruin your day, and you had a knife, they absolutely could. This is why I don't carry one. It just isn't worth getting tangled into some fucked up web all because of reasons.

Also, since you are talking Miami, you are proper fucked. So am I though, kinda. I know a guy who owns his own small LGS that has a buddy with a lot of property and we can shoot on there with him. Couple hundred yards. There are two really nice ranges near me, but they only do fucking trap and skeet. Which is fun, don't get me wrong, but so is shooting paper targets with BB guns.

In terms of gun laws, Florida is pretty good. Idgaf about open carry and accidentally "brandishing" as a CCW holder is slowly in the works to be abolished. All the other laws concerning sales, self defense, and CCW are reasonable enough for me, especially since there are no actual restrictions. In terms of actually being good for playing with firearms, it kinda sucks because there is no good easily accessible land to shoot on. If you can deal with shooting at special snowflake ranges, then you're fine. It's not so bad here, ask Zimmerman.

I lived in Texas for awhile too and it's pretty much the same deal law-wise, but land to shoot on is abundant because Texas is a whole lotta nothing outside of the Big 3 in the east and whatever the fuck is out west.

To protect the agency, it was completely decentralized and important sections were put all over the country so that there would always be a significant block in congress that would vote against defunding/shutting down NASA in the future.

I just tried out EOSS for the first time a few days ago, it seemed like a really nice indoor range. They got good rates (like seven dollars if you're a student and go in the early afternoon. and nine bucks if you go any time) and it wasn't an hourly price either- it was all day. Funny enough I actually got it from my dad and he has never shot it before. Mine is in pretty good shape, bore is perfect and bolt/innards are like brand new. Unfortunately it has some rough rust on the barrel by the muzzle in one small concentrated spot I am gonna work out with some steel wool today and some rust on the top of the barrel that looks like a nice patina but I'm still gonna try and clean it up and re blue as a little project.
