People dont seem to realise that rorke's soldiers had almost zero qualms about mowing down an ancient civilization for a payday that may or may not happen. They were silent the entire time, and with the gas masks they probably brought chlorine gas.

And The Allied Powers can't produce any equivalent.

Current design is exposed but they're shown to be pretty powerful, so weld a steel frame around them to protect the pilot and they're a huge advantage. Like giving a WW1 army a fleet of WW2 bombers.

Atlantis was actually supposed to be three movies, but then they rolled it all into a single film. This was probably a really bad move. It would have made Rorke turning out to be a bad guy, built up over the preceding two films something really special. They did a shit load of work for this movie, but sadly it didn't pay off because the execs were concerned over a lot of what the directors and writers wanted to do.
