Brass big boy in 45 colt
loading tube is fucking AIDS casserole and there's a hard limit on how fast you can actually cycle the lever or the whole gun just shits itself and refuses to work
you are basically forced to work the lever slower than a bolt action or the whole thing fucks up

Have you tried gun lube?
>bought snub S&W for $450
>unpleasant as fuck to shoot, pinky hanging off the grip makes it worse than I thought
Just fuck my shit up

So... you didn't understand that this rifle uses a loading tube before you spent $700 on it?
Also, you apparently don't know guns well enough to know that they all require a break-in period.
PEBCAK

Dry lube for lever guns, you don't want anything dripping in the action. Work the action to smooth everything out, there are still sharp corners on a brand new gun and they will polish themselves down.
As for having issues cycling, you don't have to go slow, you have to be deliberate. If you're just floating the lever forward then back you're going to have issues. Snap it forward, firm and quick. When it has moved completely forward, snap the lever back, firm and quick. This should help. Practice with dummy rounds.

Is this your first gun?...genuinely curious?

I can almost guarantee you that you're short stroking it and that's what's giving you issues

$5 says that you are gripping the gun incorrectly. Holding one in the same way that you hold an automatic is the source of many of the problems that newcomers encounter with their snubnoses.

This.
OP is a retard who doesnt know that you need to close the bolt fully for the trigger to unlock.
