recent acquisitions thread?
just picked up this like new Glock 17 for $365 after the transfer fee. How did I do /k/?
>>34048489
t-the grip
its a gen 4 why would you do that
Can't go wrong with a glock 9mm, very good price.
Those better be critical duties OP
>>34048489
>gen4
You bought the 2004 Honda Civic of guns, gen4 being the package with manual rollup windows.
Enjoy brass in your face
>>34048499
I bought it like that still trying to decide if I want to keep it.
>>34048499
Not OP but while the gen 4 texture is better than gen 3, rubber or sandpaper is still more grippy
>>34048499
Because it's removable and some people like rubberized grips
>>34048503
critical defense. are the duties(lol) better?
>>34048507
Great analogy there fuckface
>>34048528
Out of that barrel length, yes.
>>34048528
Critical defense is designed to operate at lower velocities in short barrel lengths. In all other respects
>penetration
>expansion
>barrier resistance
Critical duty is superior - it's actually my personal favorite. There are ballistic jelly videos on YT
Just picked her up today. A lightly-used Mini-14 (her first and only previous owner put maybe two magazines through her, then she was a safe queen until he sold her) plus scope mount and rings and four magazines for $699.
Mossberg 500 with a 28" trap barrel.
Just picked up an 18.5" barrel today
>>34048489
Picked up my M&P M2 today, might sell my gen 4 G17 depending on how it is at the range
Just got this guy. Gonna take him out Friday
>>34048661
That's a big gun
>>34048585
>her
>>34048661
>him
what is wrong with you people
Oh and I'm looking at getting a 9mm (not glock they are absolutely ugly and I want something aesthetic) or a 12ga, how's my bank look
>>34048676
Yeah its comparable to my 686. Still have little recoil when fired.
>>34048702
>Not using a CC and buying another gun
You should get a CZ75 for a 9mm.
>>34048723
You mean cashier's check?
We have this thing called a debit card where I'm from
>>34048738
>Credit Card
>>34048507
You do know that issues was fixed a few years ago?
>>34048752
>he has a credit card
Enjoy your eternal debt, I'll stick to debit thanks
>>34048760
>Endless repetition of memes
Do you forget where you are, anon?
>>34048676
For you.
I stumbled upon this thing for a little over $200. It seemed like a good price.
>>34048661
Very nice, anon. I think a tacticool HK in .45 is next on my list, but I can't decide between picking the somewhat reasonable USP or going full oper8r with the Mk23.
>>34048489
Just got a M1A through a rewards program.
>>34048489
$200 Star Super B 9mm
And a $260 Commission K88
>>34048764
>He doesnt have a credit score
>>34048811
>implying you need a credit card to get a credit score
700+, just from paying my bills on time
>>34048819
Have fun having your card # stolen and having all your money taken!
>>34048851
>make call to bank
>dispute charges
>get issued new card with all my money on it
I was lying a little bit, I do have a credit card for emergencies but I don't put shit like guns on it.
>>34048872
>make call to bank
>oops you didn't notice it in time
>sucks to be you
Also,
>no reward points or other benefits
It's free money nigga
>>34048889
>oops you didn't notice it in time
I get a statement every month and can check it online at any time?
>free money

>>34048507
>implying all glocks don't throw brass in your face
Doesn't mean I don't carry a gen 3 all day tho t b h
>>34048918
If you don't catch it in 2 days with a debit they don't have to refund. Debit cards don't have the same consumer protections credit cards do.
And yes, cash back rewards are dope as fuck.
>>34048960
This guy gets it. I buy all my gas, food ,and everything else off my CC. Get 5% back.
>Implying I cant pay off a gun before the end of the month
>>34048569
+P or standard? I picked up some + but haven't been able to put any through my Ruger AP yet.
got the can and bbl also a fucking 13.5x1 mm piston for the can to accommodate my HK made euro threaded bbl. Those goods arrive in the last couple weeks.
>>34048723
I was looking for a thread to post this, and couldn't find one, so i hope you don't mind me using this to bring it up.
I have a CZ75-D, and I find it difficult to rack the gun. I also find that maybe 1 in 10 rounds need me to rerack to get them loaded properly.
Any idea what's up with that?
>>34048489
Just another fucking Glocktard!
>>34048489
The latest family member, since yesterday afternoon
Just bought this last week in .357 Sig. Going to shoot it tonight and use it as my carry gun. Did I do good?
>>34049376
Beautiful pistol.
Was given this by a family friend. First Glock I have had. How did I do?
>>34053909
>>34048650
Took both to the range, and really liked the M&P, only complaints is that the trigger breaks too far to the rear so I can't use the tip of my finger
Little sister is probably going to get my glock
>>34048764
>debit card gets skimmed
>your funds get drained
>credit card gets skimmed
>banks funds get drained
>>34053909
Nice, not a nighttime, indoor, or car gun though
Just dropped all my cash and picked up an 870
$295, marked $350 and I got them to throw in a case for $5 extra.
R8/H8/Appreci8
>>34056534
Is it pre-buyout?
>>34056550
how would I find out?
>>34054116
>Little sister is probably going to get my glock
Pics or GTFO. Kirino cosplay + Glock is bonus.
>>34054154
How were you able to post from 1998? Magical!
>>34056862
While you are not liable for fraud, some banks take a few days to return funds and will still hit you with overdraft fees
>Haven't bought a firearm in 2 months now
AAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>34048503
>>34048569
>Using critical doodies when you could be using vastly superior Federal HST.
first gun, m6 scout in 22lr/.410 $700 after fees. i know i overpaid but ill keep it forever
>>34053687
>high bore axis
>7 round capacity
>size of a glock 19
>exetershit
>looks like a fucking fish
You did awful, just awful
>>34053909
>mfw 357 sig is more expensive than 10mm now
>could have just gone with based 9mm bple
Considering you're only out the cost of a new barrel you did good. But seriously 357 sig is almost as big a clown caliber as 45 gap
>>34057309
HST is another good option, but Critical Duties provide more penetration, which imo is more important than a few tenths of an inch in expansion. tnoutdoors9 prefers 135 grain +p Crits over his usual 147 HSTs
I have a guy offering me a like-new Glock 19 Gen 4 with night sights for $425. Original box and mags included. Highly considering it. Opinions?
>>34058386
seems pricey depending on where you live
then again, I don't know anything about glawks
Call your local pawn shops and gun stores to see what they can do on a new one, glocks always seemed to me like $300 guns on the new end
Have not received it yert, but im about to buy a Yugoslavian Tokarev
>>34048507
>brass to the face
t. girly wrists
Seriously it's only a problem if you're limpwristing it, I have to try to make it happen.
>>34058428
They're like 550-600 MSRP brand new. Why don't you do literally any research before you give bad info?
>>34058428
Well all I've looked at are the new prices online, and they retail for $550. Plus however much the night sights cost. He said only about one box of ammo has been run through it. I told him I was interested but I'd let him know in a week or two so I could do some research and get opinions.
>>34058496
>paying MSRP for guns
>EVER
>>34058504
Don't put to much stock into the
>I only fired 8 rounds through her!
It's bullshit - that being said if the finish is good and the night sights are quality then go for it.
Make sure the tritium is still bright though
>>34057283
>haven't bought a gun in a while
>feel the hankering coming
>realize I'm just about to bump my wage up ~50%
I could get some tacticool gucci shit.
Maybe I go for piles of milsurp.
There's even the option for stupid memes.
I see the possibilities opening up before me.
>>34048764
Enjoy never buying a house or car.
>>34058599
well I kind of trust this guy's word. He's law enforcement and he bought it off a fellow officer who decided he didn't want the gun because it was too big for his preferences.
>>34058386
Definitely go for it. With the night sets on there it's a good deal.
>>34048489
Pretty good deal OP.

>>34048661
