usually scopes have 2 knobs, windage and elevation
but most new scopes i see have 3, pic related
what is the third knob for?
Bullet power.

Parallax

That knob on the left is for assisting parallax, or in layman's terms adjusting it for the distance you are shooting at. You can research what it is.
Sometimes some scopes have that knob be a illuminated reticle knob.

it's illumination you dingus

I thought pic related was the parallax knob?
>>34045792
no, that's for sight correction
>>34045792
thats just for fine focusing
Look at u faggots... you guys dont even fucking know...
Bunch of shit eating rednecks in dis board right hurr...
It can be a couple of things. Brightness levels for illuminated reticles, or in your case, parallax adjustment for varying ranges. Those are the two main culprits.

Can you elaborate on what the parallax knob does?
third knob makes it full auto
The amount the bullet will curve in order to make cool videos

changes focus

Parallax is, in as simple a term as a posible, a shift in the point of aim depending on the viewing angle. Parallax can be corrected based on range in some high end scopes, while others just kind of say fuck it.

Doesn't it actually change how much the reticle moves when you rotate the scope with eyes/head fixed?
