I'm saying that the revolvers that can legitimately be carried around on a daily basis don't have the best track records against savages. Dragoons and Walkers had a good track record, but it's not like many people are going to be willing to carry those around for long. OP thinks a Colt 1851 is going to save his wife from being raped and scalped, but it won't.
