I went to a range, rented a bunch of handguns, and it was the only compact/sub-compact pistol that I found comfortable that had the features I liked. At least of what they had. Also I didn't mind the trigger, I actually did better with it than most. A fist sized group at 10 yards, and considering how shit I am with handguns, that's not bad for me.

the grip is pretty long and the mp c's are slim. You might want to just look at a different brand. Ruger SR9c's have really slim grips.

Two gripes about this gun and why I didn't buy one.
1) When I was fingering it at the store, I went to load a magazine and it bit the palm of my hand.
2) Dry fired it and it jerked so hard during the trigger break that I couldn't keep the sights on target.
Only one of these can be relieved. I would practice changing magazines before you made a decision to buy it.
