I did read a book. It told me not to go past closer to what would be 1300 fps. I know glocks are proofed to 49.5k psi and p+ isn't anywhere near that. I've read on the Internet (where people would never lie) that they'd regularly load to 1400 fps and that another guy with an XD was doing 1600 but he wouldn't hold it when shooting that ammunition

Look up 9mm Major. People blow up their guns pushing 124 grain 9mm at 1350 FPS because the brass is faulty or their chamber isn't fully supported.

If you want that kind of go-fast without dancing around the chance of your gun exploding then you need .357 SIG or .38 Super at minimum.
