Lots of hate for guns left in vehicles. I get why - they are easily stolen. But you can't carry everywhere, and sometimes you have to leave it in the car or just not carry that day at all. I leave it out of sight and if some car burglar breaks my window and then my glove box, he'll have a lucky day.

So what do you do if you have to regularly go into places that don't allow you to carry? Like a courthouse, for example, or a school campus? Is it somehow more noble or responsible to go around unarmed all the time rather than leave it in your glove box? Should you leave the guns at home (or is a "house gun" stupid and irresponsible too, because some crackhead could commit a burglary when I'm not home)?

I'll leave my gun in the glove box for part of the day, every day, before I leave it home. But then again, I'm not the guy with Ruger and S&W stickers all over my vehicle screaming "gun inside - steal me!"
