>Get full sized pistol for first pistol.
>Really fun to shoot.
>Only care about full sized pistols now because of how nice they are.
>No interest in CCing.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I've been seeing shields for 210 dollars after rebate and constantly consider it, then I think I'd rather just have a fullsized pistol

I CC a full size pistol. People try to push the compacts for CC but my full size 92 carries just fine.
If ye be not a manlet, than to carry a full sized pistol should you able to.
I'd rather shoot a full size as well, but I prefer to carry one everyday and compacts are just more practical.

Appendix?

Opposite has happened to me. I'm a big guy(4 u) and I really love smaller, carry sized pistols.
Got a double stack compact for first handgun. No regrets (dat pinky extenzo). Still carry it to this day.
Sometimes it pays to be a bad listener.
>>33990841
shut up yoda, not everyone has pudge to hide a fullsize pistol in
>>33990817
I'm the opposite.
>get small blowback pistol as first pistol
>no other type of pistol interests me now
>tfw NJ fag whose state has CC on a may issue basis
>won't know this feel until I move out
>>33990994
Or the opposite problem, im so fat that i can't conceal anything bigger than a single stack 380
>>33990880
Not him, but my 92a1 works fine for cc on strong side iwb. Cc-ability of a firearm is at least 80% the holster, and 15% your clothes. I just have a suade Blackhawk that has a "high side" that separates the slide safety from my skin.

Make fun of me but, I'm THAT guy who cares alot about looks, and with all the form fitting clothes I wear a full size might affect the fall of my shirt/pants
Yep. I carry a Glock 19 right now. Was going to get a smaller carry gun but now I think I'm going to get a full sized nightstand gun instead. Full sized guns are just more fun to shoot. At the end of the day that's what I'm going to be doing with my guns anyway, taking them to the range and having fun.

3 o'clock.
alos, wtf captcha?

Lots of people carry without putting their name down on that little list. I carry everyday without a permit.
>>33991271
I won't make fun, i have been there. If that's the case, look for thinner full sizes. Single stacks like 1911s or Kahrs will work too. Thinner grips also would help with this, the m9a3 specifically has them to help with how wide the 92 frame is naturally. Also, spending more than $15 on a holster is especially acceptable if it works. If after all that it doesn't quite look right to you, most people don't look for printing, unless they CC themselves, if that's any comfort.

>be me
>19 (today's my birthday)
>be owner of beretta 92A1
>I am of happyness
>go to range
>set up on range, shoot
>range is called cold
>reloading mags
>young kid sets up next to me
>I ask what he's shooting, tells me glock 43
>I've recently grown an interest in glock, subcompact specifically
>ask to let him shoot my beretta to try his glock
>mfw I fucking hate it
Had literally the opposite experience.
>Bought a pistol with the expressed purpose of CCing it
>Love it, no issues
>Shoot a few different full sized 9mms
heavy as fuck, awkward although accurate and controllable
>never even look at full sized pistols in the gun store
>>33991914
glock 43 is technically ultra compact, the 26 frame is considered a subcompact
>>33991942
I didn't know that, I must admit, but the glock 26 is what I WAS interested in.

>I'm the opposite.

Same.
Ortgies .32 pic related
Highly recommended

I'm kinda moving in the opposite direction. I started getting into guns with CC but over time I've gained more of a penchant for target shooting and larger guns, and have more interest in the sporting aspect than the defensive aspect.
>conceal carry
>don't bother with shooting anything else than my carry gun
>compact sized and handles just like a fullsize
>>33993329
Fullsize is better
>>33993329
Jesus is that a shop?
The eye to face size ratio is creepy
>>33993389
If by creepy you mean hot, then yes.
People that CC full size:
>Fat
>Only carry from walk to/from car
>Probably both
>>33992178
Same here. Years ago I wanted to CC, but target shooting is just a lot more interesting and enjoyable.
