Generally pretty lightly. They get somewhat better equipment than your standard army rifleman, but they also don't have any of the heavy equipment to back it up, tanks, fighters, ships, etc.

They're mostly just used as security forces, in fact you can't legally use them in an offensive role, so the best you can do is send them close to the enemy and hope they get shot at.

yeah, I figured that. I guess I should rephrase the question to small arms usage. Do you think it would be out of place to see an M107 or M82 in use with a western PMC? I'm asking because I got into an argument with a guy about PMC's having access to Anti-Material rifles and he said no because "That is a military weapon for the military of big countries "
