So one of those or 2/3 wiesels, I rather have the wiesels. They're much easier logistically wise and a muchs smaller target. They can also be equipped with TOW or 20mm and can be carried in chinooks. They can also travel through woodlands much easier

You have to get fuel, specialist ammunition, spare parts, tools and other such equipment. Everything a tank would need. Better off sending all that stuff to an actual tank unit not some light infantry in bum-fuck nowhere with a Russian patrol showing them the meaning on no-homo. Get something cheep, reliable that anyone can operate, wont use much more supplies than already on the train to your unit. Something stupid shit simple that can be held together with duct-tape and spit.

Logistics wins wars and are by far the most important consideration when deciding to put something like OP in whatever unit.
