Wtf is this. If this plastic toy is such a heavy, inefficient piece of shit, how bad is the real deal?
>>33923129
You think a toy is heavy?
>>33923160
Relative to my AR. Something made out of cheap plastic should not be pushing 7ibs
>>33923129
maybe not real heavier, just the balance is bad. A lot of weight in the front.
>>33923129
idk, just trade it in with the french for a famas
>>33923129
>plastic
Metal. The gearbox is a solid lump of steel and potmetal components. That's 40% of the weight right there.
>>33926083
probably a battery pack also
>>33926083
>airshit gearbox

try zinc.

Batteries are heavy as fuck, you're right I forgot. It's probably a fucking NIMH instead of a LiPo.
Zinc content wouldn't surprise me. Even the original Marui gearboxes were over-engineered in mass. I've noticed the Chinese clones are further reinforced.
Depending on what kind of cheapo it is there may actually be added weights inside of it. I had a cheap FAMAS back in the day and discovered that the entire pistol grip was filled with a solid lump of lead.

This. I had a shitty springloaded L85 as a child. When it stopped working, I took it apart, and found like 5 chunks of lead inside it, serving no purpose but to make the gun heavier.
I never did figure out why it broke.
Disassemble airshit, use ingenuity to graft it onto your AR
???
Bubba G36
Lithuanian enlisted here, we use the G-36 KA4. Light as fuck compared to a AK-4(a swedish copy of G-3), but the skeletonized stock is flimsy as fuck and can break if you hit something with a lot of force in the winter. Me being a tall guy with bear hands, the stock feels too short, but manageable. Trigger pull is ok for a service rifle, but nothing to write home about. All in all, a decent rifle for it's role, but nothing special.

probably this especially with the battery
