Oh, that's easy. It's my Iver Johnson American Bull Dog .38 S&W. Timing's fucked. It's completely unusable, even if you were dumb enough to want to shoot it, and absolutely worthless.

fuck that, im posting anyway.

I used to have that exact same gun as the OP. i bought it for $110 and sold it for $$85, only gun I ever took a loss on. I hated that POS. i have a Greener 12 gauge with metal buttplate. Ive slam fired my 1897 Winchester. That Mossberg is the only shotgun to ever bruise me.

>>
>>33904097
I know! I love bringing mine out just to make people's shoulders hurt, basically. Nobody ever believes that a 20 gauge kicks. And then they shoot that thing. And they wonder why the hell it recoils harder than a 3 1/2 inch magnum slug.
>>
>>33904258
I did that once. My buddy and I (HS poorfags at the time) were shooting shotguns in the woods.

He was slamfiring his Norinco Trench gun and I had that. I started bitching about my shoulder and he called me a pussy, so i said 'here, you shoot it" and gave him 2 rounds.

He never shot the second round - and he never said shit about me bitching about the recoil of it again.

Excluding a few free ones, this '51 30" Wingmaster was $250 out of a pawn shop. It was dirty and the glossy stock was chipping, but I sanded and stained and deep cleaned. The shitty phone pic doesn't do it justice but it's beautiful.

Yall Americans are quite lucky with the option of buying real cheap guns. Here in Norway you first have to file an application to the police to buy the gun. (About 70 US$) Then wait a few weeks to get it accepted. Then the cheapest stuff around here would be like an old star baikal O/U for maybe 180$ or an old army mauser rechambered to 30-06 - seen those as low as 60-70$ depending on shape.

them fuckers loooooove to jam. i used to own one and spent casings wouldnt always eject outward and they'd get wedged in those vents on the side
>>
>>33907865

They may jam, but they are giggle machines. A friend of mine brought one out a while back and everyone who shot it was just constantly giggling because the click-clack is just so damn weird.

A 1970s Savage Arms Model 121. I paid nothing for it. A friend gave it to me because it was so useless. I think they go for <$100 nowadays. I'm all about guns that are shitty in interesting ways. (You can learn a lot about firearms just from trying to get one to work reliably.) However, this one is solidly constructed but it manages to be the least entertaining or enjoyable firearm I've ever shot.

>A previous owner duracoated the barrel tan for some reason
>Stock is youth length
>Single shot, no magazine whatsoever, and it doesn't even have a feed ramp for ease of loading
>Bolt action but cycling the bolt only locks/unlocks the bolt and extracts/ejects
>Have to manually cock the striker after cycling the bolt
>Weaver cuts on the barrel are too shallow to securely mount optics, they just pop off if you bump them or don't torque them down all the way
>Rear sight has no elevation adjustment and the windage adjustment is just pushing it to one side or the other, no way to lock it in place
