It's not that surprising that they reused some of the technology that was developed for the Comanche - after all it was an expensive program.
There was also speculation that they have special rotor blades which are less noisy. Would be cool to see that some day also in civilian models.

The Pakis excel at that stuff. Back during the Cold War, they bought weapons from both America and China, including American-made F-104s and Chinese-made J-6s. At some point, the Americans secretly asked for a J-6 so they could do a teardown and evaluation of it, while the Chinese secretly asked for an engine from an F-104 so they could do the same. The Pakis agreed to both, making sure that the items in question were written off as being destroyed in accidents.
