It's good. But, in my experience, shorties always break first. Had one for about 2 weeks, was at a firing range, damn thing just fell apart. Got a new one after that, lasted a week until it fucking blew up in my hands. But they're good fun as long as it lasts

Not that specifically but short 12 gauges are awesome range toys and thats about it. Black aces makes something similar for like 3 times the price but might be worth a look.

Legally, a shotgun isn't a shotgun if it wasn't made or modified to be fired from the shoulder. Therefore things like the Shockwave technically aren't shotguns, but simply non-specific "firearms." Thus, shotgun laws do not apply because it is not a shotgun.

It still has to meet overall length requirements and all the other general firearm regulations though.

I want one as a small brush gun to take with me when I'm hiking to fend off coyotes/mountain lions. Unfortunately they're illegal in Texas. I'll have to go for the 18" version with a pistol grip.

The ATF said putting an AOW under a rifle does not make it a SBS. But taking the grip off of the shockwave makes it under 26 inches and thus a AOW...So I'm going to guess no but you can always ask them.

Those new zip guns that use the 10/22 mags are legal to mount under rifles. I dont know of anyone who makes a 'pistol' shotgun that could be mounted in such a way. But if you could get a governor under an ar that would be pretty slick.

Interesting thought. But if you combine it with a rifle then its one gun, which means its a 14in barrel connected to a stock, which makes it a SBS. Plus how do you get one serialized 'firearm' and a different serialized 'rifle' to become one gun? I think you might on to something here tho. Maybe a hollow grip that slips under the mag well and call it a grip just like braces arent 'stocks' sorta thing.
