It shouldn't be that hard to make an explosive gyrojet round for 12 gauge shotguns. They already made a grenade round.

with modern cnc manufacturing the gyrojet concept is much more likely to be functioning. not in anyway useful or practical. but, it could function well.

Just need the ability to make a .75 gyrojet round with a kicker charge. The gun to fire the round comes later.
