I EDC a large Sebenza 21 but it just ordered a PM2 and will probably switch to that one it arrives.

What do you EDC?

better late, then never.

Whats the grind like on that? It looks very obtuse from pics and videos, what angle do you have the edge at??

Either this or my m390 xm-18.
>>
>>33856341
It is a little bit obtuse but horrible. It will definitely still slice and slices better than my 0560.

I put a 20 degree on it and then re-profiled to a 25 degree. I liked the 20 better.

I would totally EDC a Wayfarer if I had one, it's another one of my grails.

Should I sell my seb and get one? How does a wayfarer compare to a seb?

atm im EDC'ing a victorinox spartan as i recently found it again from when i was younger, mostly carrying it because i got given it a long time ago and it means something to me i geuss, usually i carry a PM3 because i prefer the smaller blade, also carried a tenacious a while ago, but decided to switch to the PM3 because of the different steel. Ive been looking into getting a sage5 mainly because of the design.

I alternate between my Paramilitary, my Osborne, and my Adamas. Paramilitary for general light work, Osborne for regular usage and as main EDC (smaller size overall), Adamas for heavy tasks. It normally doesn't leave my IOTV but I carry it around every once and a while if I want to be a faggot.
>>
Previous was a Kershaw Leek. Now carrying a Boker + Urban Trapper. Probably going back to the Leek though.
>>
PM2, may consider the Sage 5 if I lose my PM2
>>
I carry an Izula II at work because I got comments from the customers that my PM2 looks too aggressive and makes a scary sound when I open it, not even kidding.

spyderco's are some of the most civilian knives you can get what the fuck
>>
what knife should I edc

>would like it to be cheap so if it's lost/stolen/whatever
>also am poor
>>
>>33858178
Ontario rat 1 or 2 depending on your size preference, spyderco tenacious is good. victorinox's, opinels are good as well and very cheap. Ganzo and sanrenmu's can be good, but the quality isnt the best
>>
I carry a Fox Karambit.
It makes a decent utility knife.

Surprisingly gets all the tasks that I need done, it's very small

I'm this anon. Benchmade replaced all the springs in both my knives, completely cleaned and oiled the knives, and replaced both the pocket clips for free. Holy shit.

I carry one or the other everyday. Sometimes I carry my Benchmade Contego but the Military just rides better in the pocket for me. These knives are also supplemented by a Leatherman Wave for other knife related tasks.

Ontario RAT 1 (big knife) or RAT 2 (small knife)

Like $30
>>
>>33857956
The Leek is basically a glorified letter opener
>>
>>33857947
Adamas for heavy tasks? I would think PM2 is more durable in general than any Benchmade. Especially with their breakable axis lock
>>
Another PM2 here, or a Byrd Raven 2 if I'm worried about losing it while traveling etc.
>>
>>33865118
bingo, except I would have gotten the D2 version.

>EDC Jewry
>cut boxes and plastic
pic related, my goto knife, cheap as dirt and rock solid. will do the same job as any $150 knife and half the weight of most ZT knives

The lunacy here. What state are you in?
>>
>>33865465
Look up some tests on the axis, stronger than anything your hands can put it through, without the intention of breaking it.
>>
Full size Spyderco Military.

Sebenza kept having sticky lock issues. I sold it.

PM2 was good but I just prefer the larger blade.

>>33858178

I see a lot of Recent PM2 owners here... well add another to that list. Just got mine today, haven't even carried it yet.

Next up, I'm looking into a Griptilian with the spidy hole and a sheepsfoot blade for light prying. Not gonna lie, the PM2s tip looks like it can break easily.
>>
Cheap chink knife.

I don't have an use for expensive as shit knives, and neither you do.
>>
>>33867447

Incorrect. Not only do I do a lot of outdoor activities, I also work as a Paramedic and you'd be surprised how handy a knife can be.

change it to tip up. much easier for pocket carry as the back of the tip of the blade is lower profile than the top

Cold Steel American Lawman in CTS XHP or Benchmade 810 Contego in M390. I've sold my PM2 after I got these two knives, it's honestly garbage compared to them

Is that a Phil Wilson custom?

Maryland. I work in a small grocery store that mostly old people shop in. We do stocking well into the day and I use my knife a lot.

It's wild, but I like the Izula and don't really care if I destroy it.
