The Glock 43 is okay but for learning how to shoot, you're going to have a tough time. A 26 would be better considering width isn't a factor when concealing a gun as the biggest factor in printing is the actual length of grip. The 26 is easier to shoot and much easier when you get some sort of grip extension.

Not the case with Glock 19, it's only marginally bigger than 43 (in the context of conceal carry) but provides much more magazine capacity and much better grip.

Protip: A Glock 19 is just as easy to comfortably conceal as a 43 provided that you have a good belt and a holster that conforms to your body.

And it's easier to learn how to shoot with.

I'll add this.

I went to a big name gun class recently, and there were 3 undercover cops there. They were issued the 43, so 2 of them used it, but the cop was on the department's competitive team did not, he dumped his for a 19. They all carried AIWB fwiw.

In short, none of them had malfunctions, but they really struggled with accuracy compared to everyone with a Glock 19, 17, or the various assortment of guns.

I'm not saying it's a bad gun, but those two cops and a guy with a 42 were totally blown out at 25 yards, and really struggled with even 10 yard shooting.

100% this. You'll love the 43 until it's time to actually shoot. Shooting subcompacts sucks when you need to hit something at 25 yards.
