I dont know how to move in snow very well due to my limited experience.

The frozen fabric will make your face freeze faster. It's common to do so and some people even recommend it but in practice it only works for a short time and after that you're in trouble. If you absolutely have to cover your face (e.g. you're riding a snowmobile), you need to have some way to get rid of the moist fabric fast. Tent with a stove, a spare hood or similar.

This, the UK is like the definition of meh: seldom snows, seldom sunny to the point where it's hot, always mildly windy so when it rains it hits you sideways, and when not high summer or winter it is ALWAYS overcast like holy fuck whenever I go abroad and it's overcast it just immediately reminds me of England.

You're right about that. Hearing some of the injuries from jungle phase during SAS selection makes even me cringe.

Most people iv'e talked to who have done training in the jungle, especially Bolivia and Colombia, all say they'd pretty much do ANYTHING to never do it again.

One of them ended up with a fucking detached retina or something as well as losing all his finger and toenails, and even then they wouldn't pull him out.
