Alabama man here (he's quick he's strong, he's active), I hunt boar with an AR-10 carbine chambered in .45 Raptor. Ammo is more expensive than regular .308, obviously, but for the perfection of a clean one-shot drop for all headshots and all shots between the shoulders, it's worth it.
